Delete your account and data
You can delete your Curra account yourself in the app or on the website at any time, and it is deleted at once.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Profile › Settings and language › Account & privacy › Delete account and confirm. (The option appears when you're signed in.)
- Want to keep the account? You can hide your work profile with the switch on the “Let companies find you” card in Profile.
What is deleted, at once
- Your account: the sign-in, the e-mail Apple or Google shared, and your app language.
- Your work profile, so companies no longer see you.
- Contact requests and conversations with companies (for both sides), and your notification tokens.
- My jobs (saved jobs and applications), search alerts, and every device signed in on the website.
- Your CV on the website, its copies for jobs, its photo and version history, and the links you shared for comments.
- Any AI points left on your account.
- The Sign in with Apple link to Curra, which we cancel with Apple.
What stays
- Your CVs, letters and My documents stay on your phone. To remove them, delete the app (and its iCloud backup, if you use one).
- Usage, AI points and purchase records linked to your install ID, which don't include your name or e-mail. Write to us if you want them deleted too.
- Your purchase history with Apple, which Apple keeps. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
- E-mails you sent us, until you ask us to delete them.
Unlink Apple or Google
- Apple: on your iPhone, Settings › your name › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple › Curra › Stop Using. We also do this for you when you delete your account.
- Google: at myaccount.google.com › Security › Your connections to third-party apps & services › Curra › Delete all connections.
On the web
Sign in at curra.app the same way you do in the app, open My account › Delete my account and confirm. It is deleted at once, just like in the app.
By e-mail
Write to support@curra.app from the e-mail you signed in with (or mention the Apple e-mail you saw) and say “delete my data”. We delete your account and anything else we hold about you, except what the law requires us to keep, within 30 days, and confirm by e-mail. Questions go to the same address.
