Privacy Policy

The short version: Curra does not collect anything. Your CVs, your photo and everything you type stay on your device. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics, and no advertising. We cannot see your CVs, because they never reach us.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter into Curra is saved in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. That includes:

None of it is sent to us. Curra has no server of its own, and there is nowhere for your CVs to go.

The app makes exactly one kind of network request, and it is worth being precise about it: when it opens, it asks Apple whether the Apple ID on this device has a valid subscription, by sending the App Store receipt to Apple to be checked. That receipt describes purchases, not people. It carries no CV content, no name, no photo, and nothing you have typed. Nothing else the app holds ever leaves the device.

When you choose to share, e-mail or print a CV, iOS hands the file to whichever app or printer you pick, and what happens to it from that point is governed by that app's own terms rather than by this policy. If you delete Curra, everything listed above is deleted with it.

Photos and camera

Curra asks for permission to use your photo library or camera only when you add a profile photo to a CV. The image you choose is copied into the app's own storage and used solely to place it on your CV. Curra does not read, scan or upload any other photo, and it does not access your library unless you tap to add a picture.

The writing assistant

On devices that support it, Curra offers help with the wording of your CV: spelling and grammar, rephrasing, turning a paragraph into bullet points, and shortening. This runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device model. The text you are working on is not sent to us, to Apple, or to any other company. If your device does not support it, the feature simply does not appear.

Purchases

Curra offers optional paid subscriptions. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, your card details or your billing address. What the app receives from Apple is the answer to a single question: whether this Apple ID currently has an active subscription. Apple's own privacy policy governs the payment itself and is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, change or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings on your device, under your Apple ID.

Analytics, tracking and advertising

There are none. Curra contains no analytics library, no crash reporting service, no advertising framework and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, we do not share data with data brokers, and there is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is being collected in the first place.

Third parties

Curra sends your information to no third party. There is no hosting provider, no data storage service, no error logger, no advertising or marketing partner, and no analytics vendor involved in this app. The only company in the picture is Apple, which handles the purchase itself and checks the receipt, as described above.

What we can and cannot do for you

Because your CVs live only on your device and never reach us, we have no copy of them. This means we cannot recover a CV you have deleted, and we cannot restore your data if you lose or reset your device. If your CVs matter to you, export them as PDF or Word files and keep those somewhere you control.

Your rights over your data

Because nothing is collected, most of the rights a privacy law gives you are already in your hands rather than in ours. The only copy of your CVs is the one on your device: you can read it, change it, export it and delete it at any time, without asking anyone. Deleting the app removes all of it.

There is no account to close, no mailing list to leave, no copy of your data for us to send you, and nothing for us to erase on your behalf, because we never held it.

Children

Curra is a tool for writing a CV and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.

This version replaces the policy dated 20 March 2021 that was published for Maseerati : Resume & Documents. The app has since been renamed Curra and no longer works in the way that older document described. Where the two disagree, this version is the one that applies.

باختصار: كورا لا يجمع أي شيء. سيرك الذاتية وصورتك وكل ما تكتبه يبقى في جهازك. لا يوجد حساب، ولا خادم لنا، ولا تحليلات، ولا إعلانات. نحن لا نستطيع رؤية سيرك الذاتية، لأنها لا تصل إلينا أصلاً.

ما الذي يحفظه التطبيق، وأين

كل ما تُدخله في كورا يُحفظ في مساحة التطبيق الخاصة داخل جهازك، ويشمل:

لا يُرسل شيء من ذلك إلينا. وليس لكورا خادم خاص به، فلا يوجد مكان تذهب إليه سيرك الذاتية أصلاً.

ويُجري التطبيق نوعاً واحداً فقط من الاتصال بالشبكة، ويستحق التصريح به بدقة: حين يُفتح، يسأل آبل إن كان لحساب Apple ID على هذا الجهاز اشتراك صالح، وذلك بإرسال إيصال App Store إلى آبل للتحقق منه. وهذا الإيصال يصف المشتريات لا الأشخاص: ليس فيه شيء من محتوى سيرتك، ولا اسمك، ولا صورتك، ولا أي شيء كتبته. وما عدا ذلك لا يغادر الجهاز أبداً.

وحين تختار أنت مشاركة سيرتك أو إرسالها بالبريد أو طباعتها، يسلّم نظام iOS الملف إلى التطبيق أو الطابعة التي تختارها، وما يجري له بعد ذلك تحكمه شروط ذلك التطبيق لا هذه السياسة. وإذا حذفت كورا، حُذف كل ما سبق معه.

الصور والكاميرا

يطلب كورا الإذن باستخدام مكتبة الصور أو الكاميرا فقط حين تضيف صورة شخصية إلى سيرتك. تُنسخ الصورة التي تختارها إلى مساحة التطبيق وتُستعمل لوضعها في سيرتك لا غير. التطبيق لا يقرأ ولا يفحص ولا يرفع أي صورة أخرى، ولا يصل إلى مكتبتك ما لم تضغط أنت لإضافة صورة.

مساعد الكتابة

على الأجهزة التي تدعمه، يقدّم كورا مساعدة في صياغة سيرتك: التدقيق الإملائي والنحوي، وإعادة الصياغة، وتحويل الفقرة إلى نقاط، والاختصار. وهذا يعمل بالكامل داخل جهازك عبر نموذج آبل المحلي. النصّ الذي تعمل عليه لا يُرسل إلينا ولا إلى آبل ولا إلى أي شركة أخرى. وإن كان جهازك لا يدعم الميزة، فهي ببساطة لا تظهر.

المشتريات

يقدّم كورا اشتراكات مدفوعة اختيارية. والدفع تتولّاه آبل بالكامل عبر App Store. نحن لا نرى اسمك ولا بيانات بطاقتك ولا عنوان الفوترة. وكل ما يستقبله التطبيق من آبل هو جواب سؤال واحد: هل لهذا الحساب اشتراك فعّال الآن. وسياسة خصوصية آبل هي التي تحكم عملية الدفع، وهي على apple.com/legal/privacy.

تتجدّد الاشتراكات تلقائياً ما لم تُلغَ قبل ٢٤ ساعة على الأقل من نهاية المدة الحالية. ويمكنك عرض الاشتراك أو تغييره أو إلغاؤه في أي وقت من إعدادات جهازك، تحت حساب Apple ID.

التحليلات والتتبّع والإعلانات

لا شيء من ذلك. لا يحتوي كورا على مكتبة تحليلات، ولا خدمة تقارير أعطال، ولا إطار إعلانات، ولا تتبّع من أي نوع. لا نبني عنك ملفاً، ولا نشارك بيانات مع وسطاء بيانات، ولا يوجد شيء تنسحب منه، لأنه لا يوجد شيء يُجمع من الأساس.

الأطراف الأخرى

كورا لا يُرسل معلوماتك إلى أي طرف آخر. لا يوجد مزوّد استضافة، ولا خدمة تخزين بيانات، ولا مسجّل أخطاء، ولا شريك إعلاني أو تسويقي، ولا جهة تحليلات لها علاقة بهذا التطبيق. والشركة الوحيدة في الصورة هي آبل، التي تتولّى عملية الشراء نفسها وتتحقق من الإيصال، كما وُصف أعلاه.

ما نستطيع وما لا نستطيع فعله لك

لأن سيرك الذاتية تعيش في جهازك وحده ولا تصل إلينا، فليست عندنا نسخة منها. وهذا يعني أننا لا نستطيع استعادة سيرة حذفتها، ولا استرجاع بياناتك إن فقدت جهازك أو أعدت ضبطه. فإن كانت سيرك تهمّك، صدّرها ملفات PDF أو Word واحتفظ بها في مكان تملكه.

حقوقك على بياناتك

لأنه لا يُجمع شيء، فإن معظم الحقوق التي تمنحها إياك قوانين الخصوصية هي في يدك أنت لا في يدنا. النسخة الوحيدة من سيرك الذاتية هي التي في جهازك: تقرؤها وتعدّلها وتصدّرها وتحذفها متى شئت، دون أن تستأذن أحداً. وحذف التطبيق يمحوها كلها.

لا يوجد حساب تُغلقه، ولا قائمة بريدية تنسحب منها، ولا نسخة من بياناتك نرسلها إليك، ولا شيء نمحوه نيابةً عنك، لأننا لم نحُزه يوماً.

الأطفال

كورا أداة لكتابة سيرة ذاتية وليس موجّهاً للأطفال، وهو لا يجمع معلومات شخصية من أي أحد مهما كان عمره.

تغييرات على هذه السياسة

إن تغيّرت هذه السياسة، نُشرت النسخة المحدَّثة على هذا العنوان نفسه بتاريخ جديد في أعلاها. والتغييرات الجوهرية تُذكر أيضاً في ملاحظات إصدار التطبيق.

وهذه النسخة تحلّ محلّ السياسة المؤرَّخة في ٢٠ مارس ٢٠٢١ والمنشورة باسم Maseerati : Resume & Documents. فقد أُعيدت تسمية التطبيق إلى كورا، ولم يعد يعمل بالطريقة التي وصفتها تلك الوثيقة القديمة. وحيث تختلف الاثنتان، فهذه النسخة هي المعتمدة.
