Terms of Use

Curra · CV Builder  |  Last updated: 28 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the Curra iOS app. Downloading or using the app means you accept them. They are deliberately short, because the app is deliberately simple.

What Curra is

Curra is a tool for writing a CV on your iPhone or iPad and exporting it as a PDF or a Word file. Your CVs are stored on your device and nowhere else; how your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Your content is yours

Everything you write in Curra belongs to you. We claim no rights over your CVs, your photo or anything you type, and, as the Privacy Policy explains, none of it ever reaches us.

You are responsible for what your CV says. Curra's writing assistant can suggest wording, but you decide what to keep, and the accuracy of a CV you send to an employer is yours alone.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Curra on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app, and where these terms say more than it does, these terms apply too. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or use it for anything unlawful.

Subscriptions

Curra is free to use with one CV and one design. Curra Premium, an optional auto-renewing subscription, adds ten designs, twenty CVs, a photo on the CV, and control over the font, size and margins.

What we do not promise

Curra is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors, always available, or suitable for every purpose, and we are not responsible for decisions an employer makes about a CV made with it. Because your CVs exist only on your device, we cannot recover them if the device is lost, reset, or the app is deleted — export the CVs that matter to you and keep the files somewhere you control.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
